The Best Lawyers in America® has named Lang Thal King & Hanson partner Mike Thal its 2022 “Lawyer of the Year” (Scottsdale) for Construction Litigation.

The Phoenix native represents contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in construction disputes and is an experienced advocate for contractors in Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) licensing and disciplinary matters. He is a member of the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona, Arizona Roofing Contractors Association, Mechanical Trade Contractors Association of Arizona, and U.S. Green Building Council (Arizona Chapter).
Active in the community, Mike serves as a New Pathways for Youth volunteer mentor and is a member of the Arizona Veterans StandDown Coalition.
Mike's Lawyer of the Year recognition was his second-biggest event of the month, topped by the birth of the Thals' second daughter.
