Mickell Summerhays became our newest litigation associate on November 19.
Before joining our firm, Mickell served as a law clerk at the Arizona Court of Appeals, first for the Honorable Michael J. Brown and then for Chief Judge Peter B. Swann.
Outside of the office, Mickell’s interests include sourdough baking, bean-to-bar chocolate, golf, and spending time with her husband and son.
As a law student at Arizona State University, Mickell practiced law as a certified limited practice student in the University’s Civil Litigation Clinic, advising clients in contract and landlord-tenant disputes. Mickell also has experience in Arizona legislative affairs, having worked as an intern at the Arizona House of Representatives and as a legislative assistant at a local law firm.
Before law school, Mickell worked as communications director for a local branch of the National Association of Realtors, where she managed public relations, oversaw communications between the Association and Realtor members, and cultivated media relationships.
