Lori A. Guner

Litigation and employment law attorney Lori Guner practices in Lang & Klainís commercial litigation and construction law groups.

Lori helps construction clients avoid employment law issues, including violations of the overtime and minimum wage provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). In a recent trial, she successfully defended a contractor against an employee wage claim. She also is experienced in drafting independent contractor and employee agreements, and she advises contractors on drug testing and workers compensation issues.

During law school at the University of Arizona, Lori served as the Senior Research and Development Editor of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and externed with the Honorable Sally Schneider Duncan, Maricopa County Superior Court. She also interned at Southern Arizona Legal Aidís Mortgage Clinic and at Tech Launch Arizona at the University of Arizonaís Office of Technology Transfer. Prior to law school, Lori interned at both the Arizona legislature and the Arizona Attorney Generalís Office.
